Bakers, Allens, act on Brenntag AG's $100m deal

Baker & McKenzie and Allens were legal advisers on Germany's Brenntag AG’s A$100m acquisition of the ISM and Salkat groups.

Baker & McKenzie and Allens were legal advisers on Germany's Brenntag AG’s A$100 million acquisition of the ISM and Salkat groups.

 
 

Bakers advised Brenntag AG while Allens and ANZ Corporate Finance advised the sellers.

Brenntag is a global market leader in chemical distribution. ISM and Salkat are chemical distributors in Australia and New Zealand.

The Baker & McKenzie team was led by Sydney M&A partner Ben McLaughlin, senior associate Kate Jefferson and associate Candice Heggelund, with specialist assistance from special counsels Justin Gross and Toby Patten.

Brenntag is expected to start integrating with the ISM and Salkat groups later this month.
