Deal: Venture Partners make a multi-million investment into Campaign Monitor

 

Value: $US 250 million

Deal Significance: Campaign Monitor has more than 100,000 customers in over 100 countries. The Australian reports that the email marketing company was founded by Sydney friends Ben Richardson and Dave Greiner. New York-based Insight Venture Partners is a leading global private equity and venture capital firm. It has raised more than $8 billion since it was first founded.
