Deal: Elanor Investors Group on its initial public offering of securities in Elanor Investment Limited and Elanor Investment Fund

Value: $80 million

Area: Capital Markets

Key Players: Thirty-year partner Steven Glanz (pictured) led the Bakers team, with assistance from senior associates Kane Barnett, Stratos Karousos and graduate at law David Gibson. Greenwich Legal acted for the lead managers and underwriters, Moelis Australia Advisory. Moss Capital chief executive and former Lehman Brothers head Glenn Willis will head up Elanor, with Bill Moss, the former head of property at the Macquarie Group, being a non-executive director

Deal Significance: Elanor has flagged that it intends to use the cash from the raising to expand and acquire further funds management businesses. Working capital will also be provided to Elanor. “We were delighted to be instructed by Elanor on its IPO,” said Glanz.
