Deal: Kogan Mobile will offer its customers mobile telephone plans on the Vodafone network.

Value: Confidential

Area: Corporate & commercial

Key players: The Arnold Bloch Leibler team was led by partner and head of the firm's technology practice Michael Dodge (pictured).

Deal significance: Kogan Mobile Australia has made an agreement with Vodafone, under which Kogan will be able to offer its customers mobile telephone plans on the Vodafone network.

This deal marks Kogan’s re-entry into the mobile telephony market, to which it lost access to two years ago with the collapse of Telstra 3G network reseller ISPone.

Arnold Bloch Leibler partner Michael Dodge said: “This agreement allows the company to recommence supply of Kogan-branded SIMs for mobile phones.”

He continued: “It heralds the return of what was previously one of the fastest-growing mobile services in Australia, and offers fresh competition to the major telecommunications players in Australia.”
