A global firm has advised bone and joint restoration product producer Exactech, Inc. on the acquisition of its independent distribution partner in Australia.

Exactech, Inc. is a developer and producer of bone and joint restoration products for extremities, knee, hip, spine and biologics.

Exactech, Inc. has acquired its independent distribution partner Exactech Australia Pty Ltd.

Exactech Australia is a Sydney-based importer and distributor of Exactech's orthopaedic implants, instrumentation and advanced surgical technology.

Head of Baker & McKenzie’s Asia-Pacific healthcare group, Ben McLaughlin (pictured), said: "This was a great outcome for our client which through this acquisition, now has its own operations in nine global markets with distribution channels to more than 35 countries."
