Richard Harris (pictured) has announced plans to quit the Allens partnership, where he served as the banks and financial institutions sector lead, to join Gilbert + Tobin. He will join G+T from February, 2018.

Mr Harris has experience advising complex investigation and regulatory disputes. The respected litigator specialises in commercial law and class actions, as well as regulatory investigations and corporate restructuring.

According to his profile on the Allens website, the last high-profile case Mr Harris worked on was the Bank Bill Swap Rate litigation.

G+T managing partner Danny Gilbert welcomed Mr Harris ahead of his pending move.

“I am absolutely thrilled to welcome Richard to G+T. He is an outstanding litigator who brings a wealth of experience, expertise and leadership to the firm,” Mr Gilbert said.
