Italian company buys waterjet business

Russell Kennedy has advised the manufacturer of patented waterjet cutting machines on its sale of the majority interest to an Italian company.

Firm: Russell Kennedy (Techni Waterjet) (TWJ); Alpeggiani & Associati (Gravellona Macchine Marmo) (GMM).

Deal: TWJ, which makes patented waterjet cutting machines with “innovative technology in the areas of metal, stone and glass” has sold its majority interest to GMM, while retaining management of the combined business with a carve-out of certain IP assets.

Russell Kenendy advised TWJ on all aspects of the transaction.
