DEACONS HAS the whole firm on board in advising Hewlett Packard on its acquisition of the Canberra-based Tower Software.

HP and Tower have signed a pre-bid agreement for the acquisition in a deal that will see the document and records management start-up officially become part of one of the globe’s largest information technology companies.

The cross-border team is being led by Robert Sultan, in a deal requiring a number of partners on board and a whole-of-firm response given the deal’s complexity.
