Dexus undertakes institutional placement

King & Wood Mallesons is advising Australian real estate investment trust Dexus on its newest institutional placement and security purchase plan.

Value: $900 million institutional placement and $50 million security purchase plan.

Key players: King & Wood Mallesons’ team was led by partner Daniel Natale, with special counsel Amanda Isouard, solicitors Gemma McMahon and Robert Hill, and graduate Sam Lee.

Deal significance: Dexus is an Australian real estate investment trust.

King & Wood Mallesons said that the institutional placement is fully underwritten, and once complete, Dexus will undertake a non-underwritten security purchase plan.

Lead partner Daniel Natale said they were “very happy to assist Dexus on another landmark capital raising”.

“We are excited to be involved in the continued growth trajectory of this significant and long-standing client of the firm,” he continued.

King & Wood Mallesons noted its previous advising of Dexus on equity capital raisings in 2008, 2009, 2015 and 2017, as well as its 2019 exchangeable note offering, its international and domestic debt capital raisings as well as a number of raisings for various third-party capital partners.
