Area: Property development

Key players: The MinterEllison team was led by partner Adrian Rich, with assistance from partners Antra Hood, Nathan Deveson, Rhys Guild, David Moore, Andrew Orford and special counsels John Letizia and Hannah Riggs.

Senior associates Euon Williams, Jamie Mitchell, Rebecca Barbour, Sarah Hampson and associates Ruth Sainsbury and Renae Carrigg assisted, as did lawyers Rosemary O’Shea and Lachlan Pramberg and conveyancing team leader David Boorman.

Deal significance: The project involved the purchase of a 22.16ha parcel of industrial land and the development, leasing, subdivision and sale of seven small lots located at Captain Cook Drive, Arundel on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

MinterEllison acted on all aspects of the project, such as property, construction, stamp duty and tax issues, planning and environment, leasing and FIRB. Since acquiring the site in 2017, LOGOS has developed or leased the remaining space.

Mr Rich said of the deal: “With prime industrial land in high demand across South East Queensland, this project has provided some much-needed supply into local markets.

“This is a truly first-class development and we have been fortunate enough to partner with the LOGOS team on this project. We congratulate LOGOS for having the vision and capability to bring the project to life and look forward to working with them on the remainder of the development.”
