Minter Ellisons Hong Kong office acted for Cathay Pacific Airways on the outsourcing of its data centre to Unisys in a multi-million dollar deal for three years plus options for extension. The deal is to establish a platform that will host critical management information such as passenger bookings, inventory control, departures and cargo systems.

Partner Anthony Lloyd and senior associate Jennifer Wong She worked on the deal. Lloyd, head of the firm’s Asian technology and outsourcing practice said the outsourcing contract covered the transition between the phasing out of the old information management platform and the introduction of a new platform.
