Blake Dawson Waldron (BDW)advised Retirement Care Australia, a Macquarie Capital Alliance Group company, on its acquisition of 12 nursing home facilities from the Moran Health Group. The $186 million acquisition included nursing homes in New South Wales, Western Australia, Victoria and Queensland and added 1.100 beds to Retirement Care Australia’s facilities. It now owns 26 nursing homes. Health and aged care practice head Wayne Cahill led the BDW team on the transaction.
