Thirty-one new team members have joined Colin Biggers & Paisley as a result of its recent merger with Logie-Smith Lanyon Lawyers, including six partners, two special counsel, four senior associates, and four solicitors.

Colin Biggers & Paisley managing partner Nick Crennan said the merger with Logie-Smith Lanyon Lawyers strengthens the legal practice’s position in the Melbourne market and client offering.

While the pandemic has been challenging and changed the way we work and where we work, we’ve stayed close to opportunities for growth in our chosen markets and fields of expertise.

“We are delighted to welcome the team from Logie-Smith Lanyon to our practice. The team’s broad expertise across corporate and commercial, and property and development, and shared values, and collaborative approach ensures they are an ideal fit for Colin Biggers & Paisley.

“As one practice, we are confident our clients will benefit from our enhanced service offering.”

The six new partners are David Grant, Michael Nurse, Morgan Lane, Andrew Logie-Smith, Michael Lanyon and Ece Mustafa-Ay. Simon Francis and Sue Campbell both join as special counsel, whilst the new senior associates are Alex Kuraica, Talitha Thomas, Kathleena Young and Tegan Rudolph.

In addition, James Penman, Kylie Trinh, Michelle Yuan and Michelle Suisala join as solicitors. Tracey Bartlett also joined the practice as legal project director in the property and development Victoria group.
