Gilchrist Connell elevates 9
National law firm Gilchrist Connell has promoted nine staff, including three to special counsel. All of these promotions are effective as of 1 July 2022.

Gilchrist Connell has appointed three staff to special counsel. The three new special counsel are Zoe Dempster (insurance), Mitchell Hauser (insurance), and Tiarn Pauletto (insurance).

Gilchrist Connell has also appointed six staff to the position of associate. The six new associates are Natasha Whitehead (workplace), James Kyrios (insurance), Joel Speldewinde (insurance), Aayush Jain (insurance), Olivia Cameron (insurance) and Thomas Chapman (insurance).
Gilchrist Connell recently added two staff to the national partnership. The two new partners announced were Helen Tieu and Malcolm Wood.
Richard Wood, managing principal of Gilchrist Connell, stated that “this round of promotions is particularly pleasing given it is evidence of the talented individuals we have, spread across our five locations, across our core market of insurance law and beyond”.
He concluded that “each of our team members recognised in this round of promotions, including our principal promotions of Helen Tieu and Malcolm Wood, lives and breathes the values of Gilchrist Connell and we are thrilled to be able to reward their contribution to the firm in this way”.
