Ms Naimi Roshan has been working in family law for about 20 years, and she joined CE Family Law in January 2020.

Her family emigrated from Iran to Melbourne when she was six years old, and she had aspirations of being a doctor or a lawyer from an early age. After graduating from Deakin University with a science/law degree, she completed a post-graduate diploma in legal practice, skills and ethics at Monash University and was admitted to practice in 2002 — having determined that law was where her passions lay.

Reflecting on her journey, Ms Naimi Roshan said: “Prior to joining CE, I knew David and Lauren as industry peers and friends; I admired their compassion, holistic approach to their work and their technical excellence.

“When the opportunity to join the CE team came about, I jumped at the chance to work with such incredible people whom I have the highest level of respect for and share the same values.

“I am thrilled to continue my career journey with CE Family Law as a director. I look forward to learning from and growing with my colleagues.”

Director Lauren Copeland stated: “Sanaz is an excellent family lawyer who is lovely to deal with. She is proactive, professional and always tries to achieve the best outcome for her clients.

“Sanaz is a wonderful mentor and colleague and has become an integral part of the CE team. We are so excited to welcome Sanaz as a new director to CE Family Law.”

Managing director David Edney said: “To be a good family lawyer means much more than just being a good lawyer, and Sanaz has that. Sanaz has a deep knowledge of the law but, most importantly, can use it in a way that carefully considers her clients’ needs, expectations and rights.”
