Omni Bridgeway promotes Aussie staff
Omni Bridgeway has bolstered its team with several appointments, including some based in its Australian offices.
The firm has promoted Melbourne-based Kristen Smith and Sydney-based Ewen McNee to senior investment managers.

Meanwhile, Niall Watson-Dunne, also based in Sydney, has been promoted to investment manager (Sydney).

Elsewhere, Omni Bridgeway has welcomed Eloise Matsui as an investment manager. Ms Matsui is based in Hong Kong and joins from Stephenson Harwood and King & Wood Mallesons before that. She brings a wealth of expertise in restructuring, insolvency and cross-border litigation and has acted for foreign, listed and private companies, creditors and insolvency practitioners across the breadth of restructuring, insolvency, enforcement and associated litigation scenarios, a statement from Omni Bridgeway explained.
Further, Mitch Dearness, formerly of Herbert Smith Freehills, has also been appointed an investment manager. Mr Dearness joins Omni Bridgeway with a background in arbitration and cross-border litigation, with particular experience in the infrastructure, mining and energy sectors.
