Nyree Deirmendjian (pictured) has joined Keypoint, bringing with her a quarter century’s worth of experience practising in divorce, property settlement and parenting matters.

She acts, the firm said in a statement, for clients in married, de facto and same-sex relationships, and she also does general litigation work.

The news follows the appointment of four other consulting principals in the last two months: commercial litigation professional Stephen D’Emilio last week, “succession nerd” Michele Davis in early March, film, television and digital games expert Kate Hynes in late February, and senior insurance litigation lawyer Colin Hall in mid-February.

Speaking about the appointment, Keypoint chief executive Warren Kalinko said that Ms Deirmendjian is “highly regarded for her expertise in family law matters, and her joining us is a wonderful development for our national family law practice”.

Ms Deirmendjian added: “I am pleased to be joining a firm of high-calibre lawyers and being part of a national family law practice group.”
