Speaking about Ms Marando’s appointment, Maddocks chief executive David Newman said: “We have seen a steady increase in demand for our employment services over the last year, and Rosemary’s appointment will be key in ensuring that we continue to offer our clients, and in particular our clients across all three tiers of government, a market-leading approach.”
Maddocks partner and NSW state government sector lead Vanessa Andersen added: “I am thrilled Rosemary has joined the team.
“Rosemary will strengthen our offering to government, and her appointment further demonstrates our national team’s ongoing commitment to building a large, diverse and expert employment law team to support both public and private sector clients.”
And Ms Marando said: “I’m excited to be joining the Maddocks team at a time of great change across the workplace and on the industrial relations front and to advise our clients on how best to navigate their issues.
“Most importantly, I’m thrilled to be joining a firm that invests in its people and clients and really values its employment law capability.”
