In his role as chair, Mr Hopkins will provide strategic leadership to the board, working closely with fellow directors, chief executive, members, and stakeholders to advance Resolution Institute’s mission of promoting excellence and innovation in dispute resolution, in addition to shaping the future direction of Resolution Institute.

“I am honoured to take on the role of chair at Resolution Institute,” he said.

“I look forward to working with our talented and diverse board and dedicated staff to further Resolution Institute’s commitment to providing effective, efficient, and fair resolution processes.”

Mr Hopkins is supported in the role by vice chair Sarah Ramsay and honorary treasurer Philip Argy.

CEO of Resolution Institute Amber Williams said the appointment “reflects the high calibre of Resolution Institute’s membership and ongoing commitment as the leading dispute resolution body across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand”.

“The combined leadership of Nick Hopkins KC, Sarah Ramsay, and Philip Argy will contribute significantly to the continued success of Resolution Institute and in promoting best practice in DR and providing valuable resources to its members,” she said.
