Slater & Gordon unveils 2024 promotions, including 9 senior leaders

National plaintiff law firm Slater & Gordon has promoted 40 across the country, including three senior practice leaders, five practice leaders, one senior legal counsel, six legal counsel, three principal lawyers, 10 senior associates and 13 associates.
Slater & Gordon CEO Dina Tutungi, who replaced former chief executive John Somerville in April, said she was thrilled to congratulate the 40 lawyers who have been promoted across practice areas, offices, and states.
“Each of these individuals have excelled in their respective practice areas and demonstrated a commitment to their craft and exceptional advocacy for our clients,” she said.
“Their compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence have been instrumental in championing justice for our clients. I’m so proud of each of these individuals and excited to see the important contributions they will continue to make in their new roles.”
The new senior practice leaders at the firm are Liam Casey (medical law), Phillip Reid (superannuation and disability insurance), and Alisha Muscara (workers compensation).
In addition, the new practice leaders at the firm are Nicole Valenti and Emily Archer (asbestos and dust diseases), Gabriella Giunta (comcare) and Anna Hansen, Paula Pulitano and Bridie Walsh, all within the medical law practice.
Raelene Lingham has been promoted to senior legal counsel, and Sharntelle Roach, Sean Sweeney, Alexandra Agathouli, Paul Creed, Elizabeth Edgar and Jacob Sutton have all been promoted to legal counsel.
Class actions lawyers Joel Gilbourd, Gemma Leigh-Dodds and Daniel O’Connor have all been promoted to principal lawyer.
The newest senior associates at the firm are Teni Sarris, Jannie Nguyen, Joshua Bradhurst, Selva Dankha, Stephanie Chung, Damien Zivin, Joel Redman, Samantha Ryan, Henry Hamilton-Lindsay and Nick Williams.
And finally, the following have been promoted to associate: Oliver Robertson, Hannah Murray, Rachael Ritchie, Charlotte Tudehope, Jonathan Georgaklis, Katherine Munt, Julijana Todorovic, Carolyn Davey, Najd Hussein, Ruby Robertson, Jordyn Keating, Nerissa Puth and Jessica Tang.
