East coast-based firm McCullough Robertson has expanded its corporate team with the addition of a new partner, who joins from award-winning boutique Hazelbrook Legal.
Independent law firm McCullough Robertson Lawyers has added a partner from Hazelbrook Legal, who brings more than two decades of legal experience to the firm.
New partner Lucy Adamson joins the McCullough Robertson corporate team in Sydney, after spending almost four years at Hazelbrook Legal.
She has extensive experience across funds and financial services licencing and regulatory matters and has acted for banks, government agencies, insurers, fund managers, start-ups and superannuation entities. Prior to Hazelbrook Legal, Adamson worked at top-tier global and national firms in Sydney, including Clayton Utz, Allen & Overy, Gilbert + Tobin, and EY.
This news follows the addition of two partners in Brisbane and Sydney in April this year.
McCullough Robertson joint managing partner Damien Clarke said the new partner was a strategic addition as the Sydney practice continues to grow.
“Lucy has extensive experience advising on financial services regulation as well as transactions and dealings within the financial services industry, and her appointment is extremely exciting for our domestic and international clients,” he said.
“The continued growth of our Sydney presence is integral to McCullough Robertson’s future, and with Lucy’s appointment, we now have 18 partners and over 100 people servicing clients from Sydney.”
Chair of partners Kristan Conlon said: “I am delighted to welcome Lucy to the partnership as we continue to advance our commitment to promoting women in leadership heading into our centenary next year. I know our people will benefit from Lucy’s focus on mentorship and development, and I am looking forward to working with her.”
