Sundin was formerly based in Stockholm, Sweden, where she served as global head of legal for retail at H&M Group. In this role, she led legal strategy for more than 4,000 stores across 70 countries and managed a global team of over 55 lawyers.

Working alongside the H&M retail board, Sundin drove expansion, integrated AI-powered legal tools and fostered collaboration among multi-jurisdictional teams. Previously, she also held roles at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation UK, as well as both in-house and private practices in Australia.

The founder and director of the firm, Demetrio Zema (pictured, left), recently moved into the role of group chief executive of the newly established parent company, Squared Group. In his new role, he will lead three specialist businesses within the group: Law Squared, Tetra Claims, and Cubed by Law Squared.

Zema said that Sundin is a “perfect fit” who aligns with the firm’s core values, bringing both global leadership experience and an innovative mindset.

“This restructure provides each specialist business with dedicated leadership and focus on client delivery, innovation, and growth, while benefiting from the alignment, consistency, and scale of Squared Group’s operational and executive support,” he said.

The firm began as a one-person legal practice and now operates in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

Sundin will undertake a three-month transition period under the guidance of Demetrio, before officially stepping into the role on 1 January 2026.
