Piper Alderman has unveiled 10 end-of-year promotions across three of its national offices, effective 1 January 2026.

The promotions include the appointment of two new partners, one special counsel, one senior associate, and six associates.

The two new partners promoted by the national law firm are Alicia Chryssochoides, based in Sydney, and Kylie Maxwell, based in Brisbane, both from the firm’s real estate team.

Tony Britten-Jones, managing partner and national head of real estate at Piper Alderman, welcomed the pair joining the firm’s partnership, noting that their promotions, alongside the wider promotions, strengthen the practice and reinforce the firm’s dedication to excellence and client success.

“We are delighted to welcome Alicia and Kylie to the partnership, taking our total national partner numbers to 87,” Britten-Jones said.

“Their appointments, along with the promotion of our new special counsel, senior associate and associates, reinforce the strength of our practice and commitment to building long-lasting relationships with clients.

“We look forward to seeing their continued success in 2026.”

The newly promoted special counsel, Sam Morphett, and senior associate, Nicole Harford, are both based in the firm’s Adelaide office, working within the private client services team.

In addition, the firm has promoted six associates across its projects in the graduate and construction, corporate, commercial, dispute resolution and litigation, and financial services and fintech teams.

These include Pouyan Aski (Sydney), Shannon Bryans (Brisbane), Ashleigh De Silva (Adelaide), Olivia Kelleher (Sydney), Sarah Klimek (Adelaide), and Brielle Tilbrook (Adelaide).

This news comes after the firm appointed a partner in its dispute resolution and litigation practice in mid-October, promoted 17 across the firm, including 10 senior lawyers, in June, and added seven to its national partnership after taking a number of senior lawyers from Squire Patton Boggs in March.
