Hall & Wilcox has strengthened its partnership ranks with the appointment of two new partners, welcoming Robert Watson (pictured) to its government practice and Emily Harvey (pictured) to its employment and workplace relations team.
Watson brings more than 20 years of experience advising Commonwealth and state government agencies, including the Department of Defence, on complex procurement processes and probity matters.
His work has spanned large-scale and operationally significant projects, with a focus on contract compliance, risk allocation, intellectual property, performance management and stakeholder engagement.
Harvey brings extensive experience as a strategic and commercial employment lawyer, having worked in both private practice and senior in-house leadership roles at leading global firms.
She advises organisations across diverse sectors, with particular expertise in energy and resources, agribusiness, and the public sector at both the Commonwealth and state levels.
Graydon Dowd, the chief executive partner at Hall & Wilcox, expressed how Watson’s extensive experience in government procurement and emerging technologies would further strengthen the firm’s national government practice and enhance the support it provides to clients.
