Vik Sundar (pictured) has joined Keypoint Law, having come across from Clear Law, which he founded and was the managing director of. He has also served as the managing director of Chamberlains.

Outside of his practice, he is also the current president of the ACT Law Society and a director of the Law Council of Australia.

He brings, the firm said in a statement, over 15 years of experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners and professional services firms on complex estate planning, self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs), asset protection, commercial and tax matters.

Sundar will also join Keypoint’s management team, where he will contribute to key initiatives across risk, strategy and growth.

The appointment of Sundar is the firm’s sixth partner-level appointment since the start of this year.

Keypoint chief executive Warren Kalinko said: “We are delighted to welcome Vik to Keypoint.

“His depth of expertise in private wealth, combined with his commercial insight and reputation in the market, will be a tremendous asset to our clients and our firm.”

Sundar said: “After significant consideration of the legal market and alternatives, I joined Keypoint Law because I truly believe that the traditional law firm model no longer reflects how legal services should be delivered. Keypoint’s innovative approach offers a smarter, more flexible model that delivers legal services in a way that suits both clients and practitioners.

“I am thrilled to be joining Keypoint Law as a consulting principal and as the head of strategy, risk, and growth and working closely with our CEO, Warren, on the growth of the firm.”
