Johnson Winter Slattery (JWS) has promoted five of its senior lawyers to the partnership as the firm continues to record strong growth across the business, with the appointments effective from 1 July 2026.
The new partners include Charlotte Fenton, Julia Green, Sally‑Ann Rowland, Connor Stagg, and Jarrod Wilksch (pictured), who have been elevated across the firm’s Brisbane, Sydney, and Adelaide offices.
The promotions span a range of core sectors for the firm, including mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution, employment and industrial relations, environment and planning, and real estate.
Charlotte Fenton has been elevated to the partnership in the firm’s Brisbane employment and industrial relations team, where she specialises in workplace disputes, bargaining, enterprise agreements, and termination matters.
Also in the firm’s Brisbane office, Connor Stagg has been elevated to the partnership in the dispute resolution team, where he acts in complex commercial disputes across energy, resources, infrastructure, and construction, with particular expertise in contractual disputes, joint ventures, and both domestic and international arbitration.
Having been with the firm for over two years, Julia Green joins the partnership in the Sydney environment and planning practice, bringing broad experience across real estate and major projects, including housing, industrial, commercial, retail, and data centre developments, as well as energy, resources, and infrastructure sectors.
Sally-Ann Rowland has been elevated in the firm’s Adelaide-based real estate team, where her practice spans property development, acquisitions and divestments, as well as major large-scale projects across Australia.
Rounding out the group, Jarrod Wilksch has been elevated to partner in the firm’s corporate practice in Adelaide, where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, and broader governance and advisory work across a range of industries.
Jeremy Davis, managing partner at JWS, shared that the promotions reflect the calibre of the group, underscoring their technical expertise, commercial insight, and consistent ability to deliver strong outcomes for clients.
“I am delighted to see the elevation of five senior lawyers. It is a testament to their deep expertise, commercial judgement, and track record of delivering great outcomes for our clients,” Davis said.
