In a move set to deepen its capability across the property and development team, Colin Biggers & Paisley (CBP) has promoted Sian Jones from Sydney and Stephen Webb from Brisbane to partner.

Jones joined the practice in 2017 and has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation. She specialises in property advisory, development disputes, and trade practices disputes.

Webb has been with CBP since 2022, bringing with him more than 10 years of experience across property and development law. He has advised clients on a wide range of transactional and advisory matters.

Ten other lawyers were also promoted, and a further 12 have joined the Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne offices.

The new additions span across the property, construction, insurance, corporate and commercial, and pro bono practices.

Dr Andrew Murray, managing partner, said: “These promotions and appointments reflect how we continue to invest in and shape our practice, particularly across key areas of focus.

“Clients are facing a time of significant opportunity and increasing complexity, and we work closely with them, bringing judgement and experience to help them navigate that environment with clarity and confidence.”

Jones’ and Webb’s promotions come on the heels of CBP’s appointments of Jennifer Robbins in the insurance practice, and Blake Frost and Kayla Causer in the construction team.
