Gilbert + Tobin has announced another addition to its expanding new Melbourne office - head of Baker & McKenzie's banking and finance group, Nicholas Grambas.

A project and infrastructure partner, Grambas will join IT and telecommunications specialists, Michael Caplan who joined G+T in January.

Grambas has an international career spanning both the legal and investment banking sectors and is recognised as a market leader in his field.

Although a key player in the Australia legal market employing more than 200 lawyers, Melbourne is the firm's first office outside its Sydney base.

To support this Melbourne expansion, G+T announced in January the appointment of five new partners across Sydney and Melbourne - including Caplan and Whittfield.
