Chang, Pistilli & Simmons has acted for APA Group in relation to its acquisition of a further 16.67 per cent of the SEA Gas Pipeline from International Power for approximately $46.3 million.

CP&S partner Jason Mendens led the team which included Liz Humphry and Jonathan Turnham.

The acquisition follows legal challenges to the process, under which the APA Group ultimately acquired its interest, which ran through Supreme Court and Court of Appeal hearings over a six week period. The litigation team of Tim Grave and Kate Bolster achieved clearance from the Courts to allow the acquisition to proceed.

International Power was represented by a Freehills team led by Sarah Coffey.
