Blake Dawson has acted for Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd (APBL) for SBD$138.6 million ($16.3million).

 
 

APBL is listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange and is one of the key players in the beer industry. Through the acquisition of a 97.69 per cent share in Solomon Breweries, APB has significantly expanded its regional presence.

Solomon Breweries is in addition to APBL's other brands in Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and New Zealand.

Solomon Breweries is the only brewer in the Solomon Islands, brewing the SolBrew and SB brands of beer.

The transaction was completed with the assistance of local counsel in the Solomon Islands as well as Paul Paxton-Hall of Fox and Thomas in Brisbane.
