DLA Piper Australia is acting for an ASX and AIM-listed power company on a capital raising.

Ceramic Fuel Cells Limited (CFC), a developer of high efficiency and low emission electricity generation products, is using DLA to advise on its one for four non-renounceable rights issue to raise up to $21,756,245.

DLA corporate partner Mark Burger is leading the team with senior associate Christalyne Look.

CFC is also concurrently raising capital by issuing new ordinary shares to an investor based in the UK to raise approximately $0.9 million, and placing new ordinary shares to investors to raise approximately $5 million. It is also offering existing shareholders (outside Australia or New Zealand) new ordinary shares to raise up to $3.3 million.
