By a narrow margin, Protégé emerged victorious as the preferred name in our month-long poll.

We congratulate Stella Loong, a lawyer with Herbert Smith Freehills and a winner of our 30 under 30 awards, for proposing the new moniker.

A special mention must also go to Law Council of Australia lawyer Chris Dyer for his suggestion of Legal Eaglet, which missed out on the top spot by a narrow margin.

In addition, our thanks go to Gregory Jones, Verginia Serdev-Patterson, David Taylor, Joe Menezes, Riaza Rigby, Chris Blair, Adam Johnston, Allison Lawrence and Michelle Skorupa for their inspired suggestions.

Protégé will bring you a round-up of the most interesting career-focused content for recent graduates or lawyers climbing through the ranks.

Whether you're a newcomer to law – or an old-hand keen to see what the youngsters are up to – we hope Protégé provides some insight and enjoyment.
