It is undoubtedly an exciting time to work within the in-house legal space, with legal teams being increasingly and inextricably linked to the success and growth of businesses, both big and small, offering endless scope for personal and professional development for the lawyers within those teams.
But amidst the breadth of opportunity there are also key challenges facing the in-house space, from regulatory considerations such as GDPR and mandatory data breach through to day-to-day workplace considerations, such as transitional support for lawyers moving across from private practice and the need for particular technological and business skills.
Through this new title, we intend to keep you up to date with all the latest happenings relevant to those working in-house, from general counsel to graduates.
The Lawyers Weekly editorial team is keen to hear from you! If you have any news, commentary or updates pertaining to the experience of life as an in-house counsel, changes to day-to-day practice, issues and opportunities emerging in this sphere, please get in touch:
