Inkson has experience in commercial contracts, acquisitions and disposals by businesses in the oil and gas industry and is a key appointment to HFI’s Dubai-based legal team. Joining from Aberdeen practice Iain Smith & Company, and a graduate of Aberdeen University, he qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in 1998 and was for a number of years a part-time tutor at the university, teaching legal practice, company and commercial law. Inkson commented: “I am looking to broaden my experience in the oil and gas sector by moving to an area regarded as the international hub of the industry and to use my knowledge and experience in assisting new and existing businesses to establish and develop in the region. At Hugh Fraser International I am looking forward to working with some very dynamic and growing businesses in the city of Dubai, and to the range and quality of work in one of the most exciting cities in the world.”
HFI managing partner Hugh Fraser added: “[Inkson’s] contacts in the industry and understanding of their needs will contribute to our overall growth strategy and reinforce our already strong links between Aberdeen and Dubai.”
Hugh Fraser International (HFI) was established in 2003 by Hugh Fraser, former Group Head of Legal Services at John Wood Group plc, one of the UK’s largest energy service companies.
Based in Dubai and Aberdeen, HFI and its sister business support consultancy, Ventures International, has a team of 12 legal consultants and 12 business consultants drawn from the international energy and water sectors.
