McCullough Robertson announced the appointment of its newest partners and senior associates. Partner Trudy Naylor (insurance and risk management) was appointed as one of the firms’ two accredited Workcover panel lawyers in July 2005. Partner Derek Pocock (corporate advisory) has extensive experience providing financial sector regulatory advice, valuable in mergers and acquisitions where the target business or asset operates in a highly regulated environment, such as the financial services sector. Russell Thirgood (infrastructure and dispute resolution) is a registered adjudicator and a committee member of the Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators, Queensland chapter.

 
 

Senior associate Naomi Arnold (business and revenue) is a taxation and estate planning specialist. Angela Petie (employment and IR) has a special interest in public sector industrial relations. Tim Weidman (corporate advisory) has experience in financial services. James Cameron (intellectual property) is Vice Chairman of the Queensland branch of national biotechnology organisation, AusBiotech, and advises biotechnology and bioscience companies.
