Sydney boutique corporate and communications law firm Truman Hoyle has promoted Nick Finlayson to partner from 1 July. Finlayson, who joined the firm in 2003 after six years with two top-tier law firms, will head the firm’s property and infrastructure practice following the retirement of the firm’s chairman of partners, David Scutts, who this year celebrated 50 years with the firm. Finlayson’s practice includes commercial leasing, property development and financing work, and also legal and regulatory advice for the roll out of telecommunications and radiocommunications networks in Australia and New Zealand.
