Baker & McKenzie has grown the expertise of its litigation practice with the appointment of a new partner, 35 year old Alex Wolff from Mallesons Stephen Jaques. Wolff began his legal career with articles at Mallesons in 1993. He is an experienced commercial litigator with specialist skills in insolvency and trade practices litigation, and has conducted a number of large commercial disputes.
Queensland law firm, McInnes Wilson Lawyers continues to expand with the recent appointment of four solicitors. Christine Anderson joins McInnes Wilson’s insurance litigation team. Originally from the UK, she moved to Australia in 2002. Anderson has more than eight years post-admittance experience in criminal and personal injury practice. Prior to her appointment at McInnes Wilson, she worked for Kerin & Co Lawyers as a personal injury solicitor. Claudia Bozonji, who has three years post-admission experience in the area of commercial law and litigation, also joins the firm’s insurance litigation team. Following admission, she worked for Hatzis Lawyers before moving to Sydney to work at Richard Harvey & Associates as a commercial and litigation solicitor. Craig Gillies joins McInnes Wilson as a solicitor in the property and special projects team. He was admitted as a solicitor in 2004. Charlie Watson was admitted as a solicitor on 29 March. Previously an articled clerk in the firm’s insurance litigation team, he will now practise in this area at McInnes Wilson as a solicitor.
