Gibson was previously a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers based in Melbourne. He leads the Anderson Rice contracts factory and advises a broad commercial client base from entrepreneurial start-ups to large ASX listed corporates.

Barry and Nilsson Lawyers has announced three major promotions: Richard Leahy has been appointed partner in the firm’s professional indemnity group. Leahy has focussed upon this area since joining Barry and Nilsson seven years ago. Joanna Burton has been appointed associate, also in the firm’s professional indemnity group. Burton joined the firm over two years ago, having practised in insurance, and has focussed on professional indemnity for the past three years. Rebecca Parry has been appointed associate in the firm’s family law group after joining Barry and Nilsson five years ago.
