Jasmine Forde has recently joined Nicol Robinson Halletts’ commercial litigation team. Forde completed the Legal Practice Course at the Queensland University of Technology and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland on 12 July.
Minter Ellison has appointed David Cox as head of its Shanghai office. Cox joins the firm from Masons. The firm said he is a highly experienced senior lawyer with a background in corporate/commercial, project finance and infrastructure development work. Admitted in England and Wales and Hong Kong, he has advised on a broad range of foreign investment, trade and commercial matters, such as establishing and restructuring sino-foreign joint ventures, technology transfers and regulatory issues.
