Glenda Stubbs has joined Deacons’ technology, media and telecommunications group. Stubbs joins the firm from Mallesons where she has been a solicitor since 1999, specialising in telecommunications.

Nick Stevens has established his own practice, Stevens & Associates Lawyers, after recently resigning from his position as partner at Windeyer Dibbs Solicitors. Stevens said he would continue to provide industrial relations and employment laws advice through his new firm. Stevens & Associates has formed a close association with another law firm, David Begg & Associates and is sharing office facilities and referrals. Associate, Kathryn Adams (also formerly of Windeyer Dibbs) has joined Stevens in establishing Stevens & Associates Lawyers.

Cowley Hearne Lawyers has appointed Catherine Mustaca as a senior associate in the firm’s business law group. She has been with Cowley Hearne for four years, and is experienced in a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestments and fundraisings.

Greg Rodgers has been appointed as a partner at TressCox. Rodgers joins from Freehills’ Brisbane office and specialises in insolvency, construction and commercial litigation with particular expertise in the field of insolvency and reconstruction. He joins the TressCox Brisbane team of eight litigators and corporate partners.

Swaab Attorneys has appointed Matthew Hall as a partner. Hall is an experienced intellectual property, information technology and e-commerce lawyer. He is also a registered trade mark attorney. Hall joins the firm from Phillips Fox.
