Candida D’Arcy has joined Wallmans Lawyers as a partner in the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution section. D’Arcy has recently returned from Stockholm, Sweden, where she worked with law firm Hammarskiold & Co, mainly in the area of European mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this she was a partner at Minter Ellison. She has extensive experience as a litigator, having practised in this area for 15 years.
Former Minter Ellison Adelaide senior associate, Alex Lazarevich has begun practising as a barrister at Divett Chambers.
Two partners and a barrister have been appointed to the Takovers Panel. Guy Alexander is from Allens Arthur Robinson, Sydney, Byron Koster, from Blake Dawson Waldron, Sydney and Norman O’Bryan SC, is a barrister of the Victorian Bar. Graham Bradley, the Chairman of Film Finance Corporation and former CEO of Perpetual Trustees Australia, Sydney, was also appointed. The appointments are all on a part-time basis and effective until 7 March 2007.
