Ahead of its 10th anniversary, global NewLaw firm Law Squared has welcomed 10 new professionals and appointed two general counsel to its advisory board.
Rachael Davidson and Frank Chila (both pictured) have joined the advisory board of Law Squared, ahead of the firm’s 10-year anniversary in early 2026.
Davidson currently serves as the interim GC and company secretary for healthcare charity LifeArc and is based in London. Chila is the global general counsel at Deputy and is based in Melbourne.
Speaking about the refreshed advisory board, Law Squared director Demetrio Zema said: “We take great care in appointing individuals who not only bring exceptional legal, business and governance insight, but who are aligned with our vision to deliver a true alternative to the traditional legal model.
“Rachael and Frank embody this vision with their diverse experiences and forward-thinking approach.”
He added: “We are thrilled to welcome Rachael and Frank to our advisory board as we enter this exciting next chapter.
“Their unique insights and broad experience, particularly in international markets, technology and people-centric operations, will be invaluable as we continue to reimagine how legal value is defined, delivered and rewarded.”
Elsewhere, the firm has also welcomed 10 new starters in recent times.
UK-based lawyer Dan Evans has joined the firm’s insurance team; lawyers Phoebe Langridge and Emily Loncar and assistant Natasha Filippo have joined the disputes and litigation team; lawyers Claudia Graham, Angella Kim, and Victoria Pillay are now part of the firm’s corporate and commercial team; Dan Chen has joined as a lawyer in the employment team; the firm’s energy and infrastructure team has welcomed lawyer Leisha Millanta; and London-based Cassandra Hatton has joined as chief people and capability officer.
Zema said: “These appointments, both at the advisory board level and across our legal and executive teams, underscore our commitment to expanding our capabilities and further aligning with the needs of our in-house, people and culture, and C-level clients.
“As we approach our 10th anniversary, we are poised for even greater growth and innovation as a leader in changing the conversation people have about lawyers and the profession more broadly.”
