Sydney barrister Lachlan Menzies has come on board as a lecturer for The College of Law's new applied commercial litigation program, which kicks off in August.

Menzies has 13 years of civil litigation experience, and has been a NSW barrister since 2003. He previously worked as a staff member at the University of New England School of Law.

Students completing the new program are awarded a Master of Applied Law (Commercial Litigation) and have the option of studying at Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma level.

The course has been developed and overseen be a course advisory panel comprising judges, senior practitioners and academics. It's part of a move by the College to expand its portfolio of applied law programs.
