Queensland mid-tier Carter Newell has signaled its confidence for the future, having increased its partnership by 25 per cent for the new financial year.
The firm has promoted three of its lawyers - Glenn Biggs, Stephen Humpreys and Jonathan Cheyne - to partner, bringing the total partnership to twelve.
Biggs is an insurance litigation specialist who has a particular interest in aviation, transport and product liability matters. He has conducted claims and recoveries nationally and throughout Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and the UK.
Humphreys specialises in insolvency dispute resolution, providing risk management and litigation avoidance advice to corporate clients and their boards.
Meanwhile, Cheyne practises in the corporate sphere, specialising in M&A, capital raisings, company floats and corporate governance.
The firm has also promoted workplace relations solicitor Clayton Payne to senior associate.
