Herbert Geer has appointed Josh Marchant as a partner and head of its construction team in Melbourne.

Marchant specialises in PPPs and private financing initiatives.

He is currently acting for one of the tenderers (Theiss/Degremont JV) for the Adelaide desalination project, as well as advising D&C JV as part of one of the bidding parties for the $750 million Peninsula Link project being procured by the Victorian Government.

Marchant's appointment closely follows that of major projects partner Andrew Venables to the Melbourne construction team.
