The Law Society Northern Territory has appointed Dr Nanette Rogers and Alistair Wyvill as senior counsel.

Rogers specialises in criminal law, having practised with the Central Australian Legal Service, and then as a Crown prosecutor with the NT's Office of Director of Public Prosecutions. He is believed to be the first legal practitioner practising principally in Alice Springs to have become a silk.

Wyvill has been practising as a barrister at the NT bar, based at William Forster Chambers. He also has experience practising in the UK.
