Queensland firm HopgoodGanim has promoted two members of its litigation and dispute resolution practice to partner.

Paul Betros is currently a special counsel who specialises in insolvency law, while Liam Prescott is a senior associate, focusing on complex commercial disputes in the financial services, banking and mining and energy sectors.

The promotions will take effect from 1 January 2010.
