Corrs Chambers Westgarth has reinforced its national communications practice through the appointment of Thomas Jones as partner in the Sydney-based IP technology & competition group.
Jones joins the firm from Mallesons Stephen Jaques, where he refined his skills in telecommunications regulatory and competition work, and found a specialty in regulated infrastructure across industries such as airports, broadcasting and water. He also has a specialty in third-party access issues.
In particular, Jones has offered extensive advice to Telstra, the Sydney Airport Commission, the Government of Papua New Guinea and the Singapore-based StarHub.
