James Schluter has been appointed as senior associate in the firm's employment, safety and people team in Melbourne.

Before joining Maddocks, James worked in the employee relations practices of Freehills and Holding Redlich and as group health and safety manager for APN News & Media.

Schluter's focus is on industrial relations, employment, safety, workers' compensation and discrimination matters and he advises a number of clients across a variety of industries including government, construction, media, manufacturing and telecommunications.
