Prior to joining the College of Law, Jaku-Greenfield worked in private practice as a family law solicitor and a registered family dispute resolution practitioner. A specialist in family dispute resolution, Jaku-Greenfield was the co-founder of the Sydney Mediation Partnership.
"The social-work aspect definitely inspired me to become involved in this area of law," said Jaku-Greenfield. "Although it's cliché, I like to help people and in family law you have the opportunity to help people in miserable situations."
Jaku-Greenfield hopes the Masters program will encourage students to think critically about the way they practise, while looking closely at the laws, changes in legislation and the application of the law.
